Spacious, clean, well-maintained room. Excellent view of Lake Biwa and Hikone Castle. Helpful staff. Good shabu-shabu dinner and buffet breakfast.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

This hotel had stunning views of a nearby castle and lake and a helpful staff. Despite limited English proficiency, the staff was friendly and went out of their way to solve any problems. the shabu, shabu dinner and buffet breakfast were delicious, and the spacious, clean rooms were great. While the shared bathroom set, up might be inconvenient for some, there were communal hot springs and bathing areas that made up for the lack of in, room shower or bathtub.

Although the staff was helpful, the front door closed early, which caused some inconvenience late in the evening.

The staff were friendly despite the language barrier and made an effort to communicate. The view of the surrounding area was amazing and made for a great setting. The dinner and breakfast were of high quality and had a lot of variety.

One of the inconvenient things was the lack of a private shower or bath. , the front door closing at a certain hour was a bit of a hassle for us.

The hotel's location offered breathtaking views of the city and nearby lake. The buffet breakfast and shabu-shabu dinner were delicious and satisfying.

The room was super spacious and impeccably clean, clearly well-maintained. I was particularly impressed with the stunning view of the lake and castle from here. The shabu-shabu dinner and buffet breakfast were both excellent, adding to the overall luxury experience.
